- Support JMU student's art! "Located at 131 Grace Street, within a short walk from Duke Hall, artWorks Gallery is a loft space located in the former Graves Electric building. artWorks is JMU's student-run gallery, exhibiting work by undergraduate and graduate students."
- Picasso in Richmond
- This past weekend, I went to the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts in Richmond, VA. There most current exhibition is Picasso: Masterpieces from the Musée National Picasso, Paris. This exhibit contains 176 works from Picasso's personal collection. The art was truly breath taking. Even though nothing comes close to the real thing, sneak a peak, you won't be disappointed!
- Salvador Dali
- While on vacation this summer in sunny Florida, I took a trip to The Dali Museum in St. Petersburg, FL. Dali, being one of my favorite artists, sent chills down my spine and electrified my brain with his mind bending surrealist artwork. Indulge your imagination and take a peak at some of his works on display at the museum.

- Penny Lane is a little piece of Liverpool heaven nestled in downtown Richmond, VA. Grab a pint of British ale or some fish and chips. The owner is a friend of The Beatles; authentic Beatles memorabilia decorates the walls and adds to the enchanting atmosphere--truly a Beatles lover's paradise!
- Beyond
- Located in downtown Harrisonburg, VA, Beyond is an asian-fusion style restaraunt with a sleek modern design. Sushi is one of my favorite foods and Beyond has an excellent sushi menu. I highly recommend the Baked Dynamite, it's to die for.
