Surf City Beach Patrol (SCBP) is comprised of 34 members and is 1 of 6 local lifeguard squads located in Long Beach Island, New Jersey. Our goal and mission is to keep both locals and tourists safe amongst the waters of the Jersey Shore. Each day brings new obstacles and challenges to the table that every guard must be prepared for. The ultimate focus of our job is to keep people safe in the ocean, but that does not mean we do not have fun in the process.
