Most of us have heard the term "stress" and likely have experienced it more than once. Oftentimes, however, people don't talk about college life and stress in the same sentence. Actually, college ranks as one of the most potentially stressful times of your life. Causes of college stress include a strenuous work load, social pressures, independent living, and more responsibility. Constant stress can have negative consequences, such as weight gain, feeling overwhelmed, anxiety, and depression. In fact, due partially to stress, a high percentage of college freshman don't go on to graduate.

Relieving stress is important not only for your health, but to get your life back together and fulfill your college experience to it's greatest potential. College life should be enjoyed, not endured!
