Compassion Team is a branch of JMU's Campus Crusade for Christ committed to knowing God and making Him known through acts of love and service.

Compassion Cru is a new and upcomming branch of Campus Crusade for Christ, meant to focus on spreading God's love by showing God's love through action - especially within the community of Harrisonburg.
Compassion Cru encourages taking the gospel to the next level. The gospel of Jesus means much more than only the personal salvation of individuals. It calls for a social revolution! As Christians, we are called to spread God's love through our words and actions. If we truely love God, then we should also love our neighbors as God loves them. We need to show our love!
Goals:
- Create awareness and provide opportunities for students of the JMU community to become involved in service projects that help better the community of Harrisonburg, Virginia.
- Spread the love of Jesus Christ through our actions and deeds, acting as He has called us to act: To be his hands and feet.
- To fellowship within the body of Christ, Campus Crusade, and James Madison University, as well as build strong ties outside our community.
