Web Comics
Why Comics?
For as long as I can remember, I have always had an obsession with cartoons. I have always loved all things Disney or Pixar, and as a kid, I read the funnies faithfully over breakfast every morning. It was only natural that as I grew, my interest in comics grew as well. Comic work and animation now play an important role in the artworks that I create today.
Why Web Comics?
Because they're generally FREE! No, really, web comics are a great way to learn more about art, without having to pay for art (Especially if you're cheap like myself). An additional appeal for web comics, is that they are generally interactive. Some of the coolest and latest things you can do on the web, with programs such as Flash or Photoshop, can be found in web comics. Many of the creaters are even willing to explain what they did, and how they did it! For me, as an artist, web comics are entertaining, informative, and educational.
