The above graphic was a project I made in my Fundamental Skills in Media Arts and Design (SMAD 201) class fall semester 2010. The assignment was to make a "miniature world" by make two different size objects appear with skewed proportions next to each other using Photoshop. I used a picture of two jet-skiers and make them “ride” a dragonfly in the jungle. I synthesized many different pictures to produce this effect. It is compiled of a background picture of a jungle, the jet-skiers, the dragonfly, the rope, and a separate foot model.
The key to producing a realistic picture was, in this case, to keep the quality of each layer/element of the picture consistent.

The above assignment was made in InDesign (CS5). The assignment was essentially to make a magazine about anything and to be creative. I took these very look guidelines and made a fashion magazine. I tried to make an edgy, modern design and show off my ability to make both a text-based and a picture-based spread.
The above graphic was a website I made in my Fundamental Skills in Media Arts and Design (SMAD 202) class spring semester 2011. The assignment was to construct a website using Dreamweaver. The construction of the website needed to show a thorough knowledge of linking and a healthy awareness of aesthetic elements that differentiate professional-looking websites to amateur ones.
I did my website on a pseudo-company based in Ocean City, Maryland. This website was made to instruct new staff lifeguards of the company on the rules and regulations. This website is both usable and aesthetically pleasing.
The above video was a project I made in my Fundamental Skills in Media Arts and Design (SMAD 202) class spring semester 2011. The assignment was to construct a website using iMovie.
The purpose of this video was to display our understanding of different types of camera shots, white balance and the concept of all aspects of video continuity. This video displays my ability to make a basic movie with a simplistic story line.
