Of Spiegel - Blum's essay "The Night of Broken Glass," Paul T. from Phoenix, AZ writes "Ian Spiegel-Blum's 'The Night of Broken Glass', is a lurid and harrowing account of Kristallnacht through the words of a rabbi echoed in a synagogue. Seemingly written as a bildungsroman; this piece will resonate with the reader in a profound way. Perhaps this piece can, and ultimately is, a solemn remembrance of the past; and yet, there is something incandescent and hopeful that remains. This would rather preserve the memory of the lost rather than to illustrate a minuscule point."
